女性の社会進出や出産年齢の高齢化などにより周産期におけるケア対象の心身・社会状況は複雑化している。一方、助産ケアの多くは熟練者の経験に依拠しており、ケアの意義の解明は途上である。複雑化するケアに呼応するケア・ならびに熟練者の持つ暗黙知を明らかにしたい。周産期ケアと人の性・生殖をテーマとし、生殖補助医療・周産期のメンタルヘルスを中心に、医学生物学的観点・人文社会学観点を融合させた周産期における新しいケア展開の礎となる研究を目指す。

Physical, mental, and social situation related to the perinatal period are becoming increasingly complex, partially du to work environment for women and accompanying aging of childbearing age. On the other hand, much of midwifery care relies on the experience of skilled workers, and the meaning of care is still in the process of being clarified. We would like to clarify the tacit knowledge that skilled people have as well as the care that responds to increasingly complexity of perinatal medicine. The theme of our team thus should include perinatal care, human sexuality, and reproduction, assisted reproductive medicine and perinatal mental health. We aims to conduct research that will serve as a foundation for the development of new care in the perinatal period by integrating medical biological and humanistic social perspectives.

不妊治療で妊娠した女性の全般性不安について: 不妊治療で妊娠した女性は、助産師が感じる現場感覚として真面目に課題に取り組むタイプが多く、新生児期の育児困難感を有すると感じる場合が多い。このような妊産婦への将来的な介入を見据え、妊娠期・産褥期における全般性不安についてのコホート研究を行っている。 このほか、 月経前症候群を男性がどのように認識しているのか 子宮頸癌ワクチン接種における意思決定と科学リテラシー(あるいはナッジ)

Generalized anxiety in women who became pregnant through infertility treatment:. Women who conceived during fertility treatment are more likely to be the type of women who are serious about their tasks as perceived by midwives, and often feel that they have a sense of difficulty in raising their newborns. We are conducting a cohort study of generalized anxiety during pregnancy and the postpartum period with a view to future interventions for these pregnant women.
