タンパク質は一般に、それ自身のアミノ酸配列に応じた立体構造を形成することにより、様々な生理的機能を発現する。近年、生理的条件下において特定の立体構造をもたない「天然変性タンパク質」と呼ばれるタンパク質が数多く存在することが明らかとなってきた。結晶化が困難なこれらのタンパク質の構造・ダイナミクスを、高分解能NMR分光法を用いて詳細に解析する。
