I am conducting research on transition-metal catalyzed reactions. As for education, one of my goals is to help graduate students become independent researchers. Furthermore, I take part in a lesson of chemical experiments for undergraduate students.

遷移金属触媒反応は有機合成化学の分野において現在広く用いられる、強力な手法である。これまでの遷移金属触媒反応は単一の金属触媒を用いたものが大部分であった。そこで、私は異なる二つの遷移金属の協働触媒作用を用いることで、これまでは達成困難であった分子変換反応が開発できるのではないかと考え研究を行っている。

Transition-metal catalyzed reaction is a powerful tool in synthetic chemistry. Most of previous reactions were catalyzed by a single catalysis. Therefore, I am trying to develop new reactions which are catalyzed by dual catalysis.
