植物の環境に対する応答、特に光応答について研究する。苔類ゼニゴケおよび被子植物シロイヌナズナを用いて、光刺激の受容から応答に至るまでの分子機構を解析し、シグナル伝達機構の進化を解明する。

My research interest is plant environmental responses, especially light signaling. Using an angiosperm Arabidopsis thaliana and a liverwort Marchantia polymorpha, we have been investigating evolution of molecular mechanisms for light signaling.
