細胞システムを構成する遺伝子の機能解析の研究に従事。主に細胞の物質輸送 や細胞接着制御の解析を行った。 近年は動物個体を用いて、行動を決定する神経システムの研究も行っている。

Major research interest is gene function analysis in single cell, mainly molecule transport and regulation of cell adhesion. Current interest is a genetic basis of neural system controlling numerous behaviors.
