      • Overview of the research

        To understand the birth of the universe and the physics of the blackhole, it is necessary to unify general relativity and quantum theory (quantum gravity). It is, however, still very problematic, irrespective of many long-term efforts so far. One important direction of study is to assume spacetime is not fundamental, namely, it is spontaneously generated from other fundamental degrees of freedom. I study quantum gravity by this emergence picture of spacetime, based on a tensor model in canonical formalism and fuzzy spacetimes.
