Liquid-phase synthesis, characterization, and application of porous materials
研究概要
(日本語)
ゾル-ゲル法をはじめとする液相合成法により、新規な多孔性物質を合成し、その構造・物性を調べ、実用的な材料にまで引き上げる研究を行っている。近年は特に、有機-無機ハイブリッド体による柔軟性多孔性物質の開発と高性能断熱材としての応用について研究を行っている。

Through the synthesis of novel porous materials by liquid-phase processes, typically the sol-gel process, and various characterizations of resultant materials, applications of these materials are explored. Recent interest concentrates on studies on soft/flexible porous materials based on organic-inorganic hybrids and their applications to thermal superinsulators.
