Regulation of carilage and bone formation and their regeneration
研究概要
(日本語)
軟骨は体が成長と運動を担う組織です。軟骨が損傷すると、骨格の変形や運動時痛が起こります。軟骨の治療は難しく、長年にわたりチャレンジングなテーマです。軟骨が形成されるメカニズムを分子レベルで解明することを目指します。そして、そこで得られた知見を元に、軟骨疾患が起きる仕組みを解析し、また軟骨細胞を再生する方法の開発を目指します。

The treatment of cartilage is a challenging issue. We are investigating mechanisms regulating the formation and differentiation of cartilage. We are also going to analyze cause of cartilage diseases and to develop a method to regenerate cartilage.
