研究概要

多くの癌でその発現が抑制されている癌抑制遺伝子RECKは、今までにマトリックスメタロプロテアーゼ(MMPs)抑制、NotchリガンドのADAM10による放出の制御、wnt7シグナル入力を増強することなどが知られている。RECKタンパク質と相互作用するタンパク質の解析からRECKと結合するADAMTS10と言うMMPsとは異なるメタロプロテアーゼを見出した。またRECKの遺伝子発現を抑えたミュータントマウスを用いて生体のホメオスタシスにおける影響、発生過程、並びに腫瘍形成過程でのRECKの役割を探っている。

The tumor suppressor protein RECK has been implicated in the regulation of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), Notch-signaling, and WNT7-signaling. It remains unclear, how does RECK regulate the homeostasis and tumor suppression. I am interested in exploring these problems. I am also characterizing proteins interacting with the RECK protein.
