Role of Hsp110 family chaperons in vivo, Generation of a conditional- and inducible transgenic mouse

1。Hsp110 family に属する Apg-2 (Hspa4) の生体での役割を遺伝子ノックアウト・マウスを用いて解析する。また、その表現型をもたらす分子機序を明らかにし、治療への応用を目指す。 2。条件付き・誘導性に遺伝子を発現する(または、ノックダウンする)マウスを作成する。また、このマウスを用いることで、致死性遺伝子などの解析を行うことで、従来のノックアウト・マウスやトランスジェニック・マウスを用いて解析が困難であった分子の生体内での役割を明らかにする。

(1) We are analyzing a role of Apg-2 (Hspa4) chaperon, belonging to Hsp110 family, in vivo. By dissecting molecular mechanisms of the given phenotypes, we would try to translate them to clinical application. (2) We are establishing a conditional- and inducible- transgenic (or gene knock-down) mouse system. We would clarify the role of genes in vivo, which have been hampered to be analyzed in vivo using conventional knock-out mice or transgenic mice because of the lethality.
