In recent years, I have been working on computational chemistry aiming at providing theoretical insight into gas adsorption behavior by porous coordination polymers, which have shown great potential for applications in gas storage, gas separation, catalyst, etc. I am trying to reveal rules that determine gas adsorption and separation by these materials, and will theoretically predict such materials with good performances for above applications on the basis of theoretical understanding.
