蛋白質のユビキチン化は様々な高次生理機能に関わっていることが知られているが、ユビキチン化関連蛋白質は極めて多く存在し、それらの役割は不明なものが多い。そこで、機能未解明のユビキチン化関連蛋白質の解析を起点として、高次生理機能の分子機構を明らかにする。

Many proteins are involved in protein ubiquitination events, but roles of these proteins are not well understood. I will elucidate the mechanisms underlying various physiological functions through the analysis of ubiquitination-related proteins.
