Development of therapeutic system by DDS of nucleic acids and genes
研究概要
(日本語)
遺伝子あるいは核酸は現在対処法の存在しない難治療性疾患の有用な治療法となりえると考え、研究を開始した。遺伝子導入に用いられるベクター中のコードされるタンパク質、遺伝子発現制御部位のデザインによる治療効果の改善に取り組んできた。近年は、細胞から分泌されるexosomeをはじめとした細胞由来微粒子を利用したデリバリーシステムの開発について研究を行っている。

I started my research based on the consideration that gene therapy and oligonucleotide-based therapy can be an effective therapeutic treatment against refractory disease. To improve therapeutic effect in gene therapy, I designed the vector encoding therapeutic protein. Recently, my research focuses on the development of delivery system using cell-derived small particles such as exosomes.
