My study theme is a pathological study of lung cancer, especially Lung adenocarcinoma. Until now, I have reported some clinicopathological correlations between specific histologic findings of lung adenocarcinoma and genetic alterations (EGFR, KRAS, ALK, e.t.c) or growth factors (GATA6, MUC4, e.t.c). Now I attempt to create the novel computational algorithm with artificial intelligence technology, in particular, support vector machine (SVM) and/or deep learning, for prognosis using pathological digital images of lung adenocarcinoma.

私の研究テーマは,肺癌,特に肺腺癌の臨床病理学的検討です。これまで,特異的組織像が予後に及ぼす影響を報告してきました。特に肺腺癌における5組織型を基盤とした新分類の提唱,検証は,2015年発刊のWHO分類でも採用されています。また,同様に特異的組織像と遺伝子異常(EGFR,KRAS, ALKなど),あるいは増殖因子(GATA6,MUC4)との相関を検討しきました。現在は,肺腺癌の病理デジタル画像を用いた人工知能(深層学習)による予後解析アルゴリズムの構築を行っています。

My study theme is a pathological study of lung cancer, especially Lung adenocarcinoma.
