Development of biomarkers for gastrointestinal cancers, colorectal carcinogenesis and hereditary cancer
研究概要
(日本語)
消化管癌の予防や早期発見による死亡の抑制を主な目標として、がんの早期診断に有用な血液を用いた消化管がんの非侵襲的バイオマーカーの開発、大腸発がんにおける前がん病変である大腸ポリープの生物学的、分子的特徴を明らかにするためのトランスレーショナルリサーチ、がん発症の高リスクである遺伝性腫瘍に関する臨床研究を行っている。

The primary goal of my research is to reduce cancer death by prevention and early detection of gastrointestinal cancers. My research projects include development of non-invasive blood biomarkers for early detection of gastrointestinal cancers, translation research to elucidate biological and molecular characteristics of colorectal polyps, and clinical research on hereditary cancer syndromes.
