(日本語)
(1)各種消化器癌培養細胞株および患者検体を用いて、EMTの様式およびその関連因子の癌幹細胞維持における役割を解析する。さらに、治療抵抗性を担う分子機構を明らかにし、創薬シーズの探索を行う。 (2)胃癌・膵癌等の消化器癌自然発症モデルマウスにおける細胞初期化関連因子(Oct-4, Nanog等)の発現様式を、組織ごとかつ時系列的に追跡することにより、発癌への関与を詳しく調べる。そして、これらの因子の条件付きノックアウトマウスと交配することにより、発癌が抑制されうるかを解析して、治療標的分子の可能性を検証する。

(1) We will clarify the role of the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and the mechanism of the therapeutic resistance of cancer stem cells in digestive organs by analyzing cancer cell lines as well as patients surgical specimens of gastric and pancreato-biliary cancers. (2) We elucidate the role of reprograming factors such as Nanog and Oct-4 in digestive organ carcinogenesis and search for the possibilities of these genes as therapeutic targets by analyzing the mouse models of gastric and pancreatic cancers with conditional knockout technology.
