木造建築物の構造性能発現機構の解明に取り組んでいる。特に、集成材構造建築物の粘り強い接合部の開発とそのメカニズムの解明に興味がある。伝統木造建築にも同様に大変興味を持っている。

I am devoting myself to make it clear how structural performance of wooden structures can be appeared. Especially, I am interesting on the development and analyses of ductile connection system for glulam construction. Traditional timber structures are also giving another attarctive features for me.

木造戸建て住宅、集成材構造建築物、伝統木造建築物を対象に、それらの耐震性能向上の方策、特に接合法との関係で様々な研究を進めている。

I am dvoting myself in various researches for improving anti-seismic performance of such wooden structures as wooden dwelling houses, glulam construction and traditional timber structures, especially in glulam construction and traditional timber structures, especially in relating to the engineered timber joint methods.
