Development of Optical Functional Materials Doped with Rare Earth and Transition Metal Ions for Green Photonics
研究概要
(日本語)
光子を操るフォトニクス技術で省エネルギー・低環境負荷の社会を目指すグリーンフォトニクスへ向け、固体照明用蛍光体や残光蛍光体、高効率発電のための太陽光波長変換材料等の新規光機能性材料開発の研究を行っている。具体的には、希土類イオンや遷移金属イオンを添加した酸化物結晶/ガラスを作製し、それら波長変換材料が放つ様々な発光を測定・分析し、発光/残光機構の解明、エネルギー移動効率や発光効率の高効率化を目指している。
