乳癌、頭頸部癌、膵癌に対する放射線治療。強度変調放射線治療、呼吸同期、動体追尾などの技術を使いより精度の高い放射線治療法の開発。 また、放射線治療抵抗性を示す低酸素領域の画像化により、治療効果増強を目指す。 分子標的薬と放射線治療の併用により、増感効果を目指す。
