薄膜合成、高圧合成、純良単結晶合成など様々な合成手法を使って無機化合物の創製と機能開拓に取り組んでいる。また、固体凝縮相にあらわれる新しいタイプの素励起(磁気モノポールなど)にも注目して研究を行っている。

I am working on the creation and development of functional inorganic compounds using various synthetic methods such as thin-film synthesis, high-pressure synthesis, and high-quality single-crystal synthesis. I am also focusing on novel types of elementary excitations in condensed matter and solids (e.g., magnetic monopole in spin ice materials).
