Overview of the research

iPS細胞の基礎研究や臨床応用に欠かせない、ヒトiPS細胞株の樹立や維持培養技術、品質チェック法などの普及を担当している。また、種々の疾患の患者検体からの疾患特異的iPS細胞の樹立や選別も行い、CiRA内あるいは外部の研究機関に提供している。

Our laboratory is in charge of disseminating the human iPS cell establishment and maintenance culture technology and quality checking methods, which are indispensable for basic research and clinical application of iPS cells. And we are slso establishing disease-specific iPS cells derived from specimens of various patients have also been carried out, and the iPS cells have been supplied to relevant units within the CiRA and outside research institutes.
