高温,高圧力,高強度光子場といった極端条件下における物質の性質や相転移現象を,統計力学・量子化学的方法を用いて探る.また,量子ダイナミクスが関与するさまざまな物理現象を,統一的観点から解析する.

Properties of matter and phase transitions under high temperatures, high pressures and/or intense radiation fields are studied with statistical and quantum-chemical methods. Various physical phenomena associated with quantum dynamics are analyzed from a unified viewpoint.
