構造材料の健全性を非破壊的に評価し、その安全性を確保するために、 材料の非線形力学特性に関する基礎的な検討を行っております。 特に応力-ひずみ関係に強い異方性を有する複合材料中の損傷が 超音波伝搬挙動に与える影響を明らかにするために、理論、実験両面から研究に 取り組んでおります。

Fundamental analyses are conducted to provide general insight of the nonlinear mechanical properties for the nondestructive evaluation of structural material. In particular, the relation between the degradation in composite material, which has strong anisotropic stress-strain relation, and the characteristics of ultrasonic wave propagation is studied theoretically and experimentally.
