Overview of the research

地震に伴い,あるいは先行して,電磁場変動を含む様々な現象が報告されている。しかし,観測事実の信頼度は必ずしも正しく検討されておらず,またそれゆえ,理論構築も十分には試みられていない。そこで,観測された現象に対して統計的方法を含む検討を施し,真に地震と関連付けられるもののみを抽出するとともに,既知の理論から生じうる地震関連現象を予測し,観測事実とのギャップを埋めるための理論構築を目指している。

Various kind of anomalies, including electromagnetic phenomena, has been reported to occur in association with earthquakes. However, reliability of such reports has not been sufficiently examined; consequently, their theoretical background has not been established. I am trying to (1) distinguish actual anomalies from apparent anomalies, and to (2) build up candidates theories explaining the actual anomalies related to earthquakes.
