古典的内分泌疾患全般の臨床・研究活動、特に原発性アルドステロン症、褐色細胞腫、クッシング症候群など内分泌性高血圧の臨床研究・基礎研究を行っている。下垂体疾患、甲状腺疾患の臨床研究も行っている。 また、ヒトES細胞/iPS細胞を用いた血管分化研究とその技術を用いた疾患iPSによる血管病の病態解明研究、ヒトES/iPS細胞を用いたステロイド産生細胞や脂肪細胞など内分泌臓器の分化メカニズムの研究を行っている。
