Overview of the research

主として生体高分子を対象としてナノスケールの物質構造・ダイナミクス研究を進めている。中性子・X線小角散乱法を中心に動的光散乱法・分析超遠心法・質量分析法を用いた統合的測定法を開発し、更に計算機科学とも連携して生体高分子の溶液中での構造・ダイナミクスと機能との関係を探求している。

Research theme is structure and dynamics of nanoscale-materials, mainly biomacromolecules. The relation between the structure/dynamics and the functions in biomacromolecules, such as protein, DNA-complex and so on, is investigated by developing the integrative measuring method with small-angle X-ray/neutron scatterings, Dynamical Light Scattering, Analytical Ultracentrifuge, Mass spectrometry and also utilizing computer simulation.
