偏微分方程式の数値解析を研究しています. 今までは,基本解近似解法(代用電荷法)と呼ばれるメッシュフリー解法の数学理論の構築,およびその応用を重点的に研究していました. 最近は,上記の課題に加えて,複雑現象を記述するシステムの数値解析などにも取り組んでいます.

I study the numerical analysis of partial differential equations. I have been studied the mathematical analysis of the method of fundamental solutions (also known as the charge simulation method), and its application. Recently, in addition, I'm also working on the numerical analysis of some systems that describe complex phenomena.

Overview of the research

偏微分方程式の数値解析を主たる研究テーマとしており,特に界面現象に関連する手法の解析を行っている.例えば,Hele-Shaw 問題と呼ばれる流体力学に現れる移動境界問題や,結晶粒界と呼ばれる材料科学に現れる非常に特異性が強い問題に対して,その方程式の構造を考慮した数値解法(構造保存型数値解法)を構築し,収束解析を行い,数値実験まで一貫して行い,総合的に研究している.

My main research interest lies in the numerical analysis of partial differential equations describing interfacial phenomena. For example, for the Hele-Shaw problem which is a moving boundary problem appearing in fluid dynamocs or for a very singular equation such as a mathematical model for the motion of grain boundaries appearing in the material sciences, I constructed structure-preserving numerical scheme, establish mathematical theory such as convergence, and also perform numerical experiments.
