Overview of the research

非平衡統計力学の中でも散逸の効果に着目し、その定常状態の統計的性質を研究する。その応用として粉体のレオロジーやジャミング転移を研究する。

I am interested in dissipative aspects of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. In particular, I study the general aspects of non-equilibrium steady states. As its application, I also study rheology and jamming transition of granular materials.
