Personal Profile

コムギを材料として染色体の構造と機能に関する研究をしてきました。主な実験手法は、DNAマーカーの染色体マッピングと染色体の細胞遺伝学的解析です。ゲノムを正確に次世代に伝える仕組みのカギとなる動原体の構造解析を行っています。染色体に突然変異を誘発する配偶子致死染色体の分子機構を明らかにしたいと考えています。小麦育種に役立つゲノムワイドマーカー開発につなげる目的で、コムギのゲノム研究にも参画しています。

Overview of your research
(Japanese)
分子細胞遺伝学的にコムギならびに近縁種の染色体構造を明らかにしている。パンコムギにおける効率的な染色体マッピング法の開発を行い、小麦の重要形質を支配する遺伝子と連鎖するマーカーの探索を行っている。コムギの配偶子致死遺伝子の抑制遺伝子を3B染色体狭動原体領域にマッピングした。動原体の機能・構造解析を行い、オオムギの種間交雑における単親性染色体脱落と動原体特異的ヒストンH3の局在の関係を明らかにした。
