Function and transcriptional regulation of IL-7 receptor in immune cells
Overview of the research

IL-7はリンパ球の分化に必須のサイトカインです。IL-7受容体はT細胞やB細胞だけでなく、樹状細胞や自然リンパ球にも発現しています。これらの免疫細胞の分化と機能発揮におけるIL-7レセプターの役割を遺伝子改変マウスを用いて解析しています。また、IL-7受容体発現の転写制御の研究も行っています。

IL-7 is a cytokine essential for the development of lymphocytes. IL-7 receptor is expressed in not only T-, B-lymphocytes but also dendritic cells and some innate lymphoid cells. I am studying the role of IL-7 receptor for the differentiation and function in these immune cells by using genetically modified mice. I am also studying transcriptional regulation of IL-7 receptor gene expression.
