ダイヤモンド中の窒素-空孔複合体(NVセンタ)は強い蛍光発光と電子スピン1を持つカラーセンタである. NVセンタのスピン状態は可視光で初期化と制御ができ, 室温でも長いコヒーレンス時間を持つため, ナノスケールでの電界・磁場・温度センサーとして利用でき, 近年では生体応用も進められている. 私はNVセンタの高速バイオイメージングを目標に, 測定用の顕微鏡の開発やナノダイヤモンド中のNVセンタの発光特性について研究している.

Nitrogen-vacancy center (NVC) in diamond is a promising candidate as a nanoscale sensor of magnetic field, electric field, and temperature. The applications of NVC to biological systems bring new information to shed light on the states and dynamics at the local environment. To expand the application, such as rapid bioimaging using NVC, I try to develop a microscope and to evaluate the optical property of nano-diamond crystal.
