Chemical reaction engineering modeling of various reactions and reactors
Overview of the research
(Japanese)
炭素の熱CVD,シリカのプラズマCVD,晶析などの材料合成プロセスや水素燃料電池,電気二重層キャパシターなどの電気化学プロセス,自動車触媒反応などの複雑反応系の速度論的モデリングを行うことにより,反応プロセスの本質を理解し,新規プロセス開発に発展させる研究を行っている。

Modeling of material synthesis processes, thermal CVD of carbon, plasma CVD of silica, and continuous precipitation, as well as electrochemical precesses, polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) and electric double-layer capacitor (EDLC), and modeling of complex reactions, aftertreatment of automotive exhaust gas, are carried out for understanding the intrinsic characters of the reaction processes and for developing novel reaction processes.
