Overview of the research
(Japanese)
高分子などのソフトマター材料は、学術にもならず産業的にも非常に重要である。特に、高分子を薄くすることは材料の高機能化には必要不可欠である。しかしながら、高分子材料を薄くすると厚い膜とは異なる性質を示す。そこで、高分子薄膜材料の物性に興味を持った。X線や中性子などの量子ビームを用いて、構造を調べることで薄膜とバルクの比較を明らかにすることを試みている。
