Overview of the research

植物ホルモンは植物の生長・分化や環境応答を制御する小分子である。私たちは、植物ホルモンが植物体内でどのように作られ、どのように作用するのかを分子レベルで明らかにするための研究を行っている。また、突然変異体の解析から示唆されている新しい植物ホルモン様物質の探索を行っている。

Plant hormones are small molecules that control growth, development and environmental responses of plants. We have been studying how plant hormones are synthesized and act in plants at the molecular level. We are looking for new plant hormone-like compounds based on studies on mutants that show developmental phenotypes.
