個々のがん細胞の特徴に応じて、放射線治療を最適化することにより、放射線抵抗性を示すがん種を含めた全てのがんの克服を目指している。具体的には、培養細胞・動物モデル・臨床検体を用いた分子生物学的解析だけでなく、エッジコンピューティング技術と生体マイクロイメージングを融合させた内視鏡デバイスの開発にも携わり、個々の放射線感受性および治療後の転移リスクを予測する方法の確立を目指している。

My research focus is on improving outcomes for patients with cancers exhibiting radioresistance through personalized treatments. Our laboratory is currently developing and validating blood-based biomarkers to predict the radiosensitivity of cancer and the future risk of distant metastasis.
